About The Position
The Warehouse Packer assists the Warehouse Supervisor with warehouse operations. Duties include working on an assembly line with a crew to pack sourdough bread, staging boxed cases of bread on pallets, wrapping and loading pallets onto a truck, and maintaining the cleanliness of the work area. The hourly rate is $20. Shifts typically begin at 5:00 AM. Availability on Saturday or Sunday may be required. The position involves standing, bending, twisting, stooping, and stretching for up to eight hours, and may require frequently lifting packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
