Warehouse Package Handler
About The Position
OnTrac is hiring a Package Handler to support warehouse operations. The role contributes to the smooth functioning of the warehouse, with a focus on quality and adherence to safety protocols. Package Handlers unload trailers, sort packages by ZIP code, and load trucks for delivery while working as part of a team. The warehouse environment varies in temperature by season, and employees must remain on their feet and regularly handle items averaging 50 pounds, occasionally up to 75 pounds. The position is located at 1635 Main Ave., Ste 3, Sacramento, CA 95838, and pays $18 per hour. Listed shifts are Monday–Friday, 2 p.m.–10 p.m., or Saturday–Thursday, 2 p.m.–10 p.m. Hours may vary based on business needs. “End of Sort” means completion of all required sort work for the day and cleanup activities as directed by site management.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to stay on your feet while working.
- Ability to work in heat and cold as warehouse temperatures vary by season.
- Ability to regularly lift, push, pull, and/or move items averaging 50 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Prioritize safety while performing warehouse work.
- Unload trailers and sort packages by ZIP code.
- Load trucks for deliveries.
- Work collaboratively with the team to complete the job.
