Warehouse Package Handler - Early Mornings
About The Position
OnTrac is hiring a Package Handler to support warehouse operations at 375 W Apra St., Compton, CA 90220. Package Handlers contribute to smooth warehouse operations, with an emphasis on quality and following safety protocols. The role is scheduled for early mornings, 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., with one of several listed weekly schedules; hours may vary based on business needs. The shift ends after the required sort work and cleanup activities are completed as directed by site management. The position pays $18 per hour, with weekly pay. Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to stay on your feet while working.
- Ability to work in warehouse heat and cold as temperatures vary by season.
- Ability to regularly lift, push, pull, and/or move items averaging 50 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Unload trailers and sort packages by ZIP code.
- Load trucks for deliveries.
- Follow safety protocols and contribute to a safe work environment.
- Work collaboratively with the team to complete the work.
