About The Position

OnTrac is hiring a Package Handler to support warehouse operations. The role contributes to smooth warehouse functioning, with an emphasis on quality, safety protocols, and maintaining a productive and secure work environment. The position is based at 5525 Tradesman Dr. #200, Madison, WI 53718, and pays $18.00 per hour. Availability is required seven days a week. Shift times are 5:00 AM–7:30 AM or until the end of sort; hours may vary based on business needs. “End of Sort” means completion of all required sorting work for the day and cleanup activities as directed by site management.

Package Handlers unload trailers, sort packages by ZIP code, and load delivery trucks. Teamwork and safe work practices are essential. The warehouse may be hot or cold depending on seasonal temperatures. The position requires standing and regularly lifting, pushing, pulling, and/or moving items averaging 50 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds. Applicants must be at least 18 years old.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to stay on your feet while working.
• Ability to work in heat and cold as warehouse temperatures vary by season.
• Ability to regularly lift, push, pull, and/or move items averaging 50 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Unload trailers.
• Sort packages by ZIP code.
• Load trucks for deliveries.
• Follow safety practices and contribute to a safe, clean, and productive work environment.
• Work cooperatively with the team to complete the job.
• Complete required sort work and cleanup activities as directed by site management.
