About The Position

OnTrac is hiring a Warehouse Package Handler to support warehouse operations. Package Handlers contribute to the smooth functioning of the warehouse, with a focus on quality and adherence to safety protocols to maintain a productive and secure work environment. The role involves unloading trailers, sorting packages by ZIP code, and loading trucks for delivery, while working collaboratively with the team.

The position is at 2100 E 15th Ave, Gary, IN 46402, and pays $18.00 per hour. Availability is required seven days a week. Shift times are 3:30 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. or until the end of sort; hours may vary based on business needs. “End of Sort” means completion of all required sort work for the day and cleanup activities as directed by site management.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to stay on your feet while working.
• Ability to work in warehouse temperatures that vary by season, including heat and cold.
• Ability to regularly lift, push, pull, and/or move items averaging 50 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Unload trailers.

• Load trucks for deliveries.
