About The Position

The Warehouse Package Handler works in Gordon Food Service’s automated distribution center, helping process and prepare customer orders. The role is physically demanding and involves being on your feet for the duration of the shift and lifting up to 100 pounds. No experience is required; a dedicated training team provides training. Starting pay is $21.13 per hour, including the shift premium, with pay that scales based on production and efficiency. Employees can also earn two pay raises in their first year. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, with Fridays and Saturdays off. The second shift starts at 7:15 PM and runs until work is finished; shift length may vary depending on work volume. The role requires working weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed, and working in extreme cold or hot conditions. The position is at the distribution center at 225 Solar Dr., Imperial, Pennsylvania.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Must be able to work in extreme cold or hot conditions.
Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift and lift up to 100 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Prior warehouse experience is preferred but not required.
