About The Position

Gordon Food Service is hiring a Warehouse Package Handler for its distribution center at 4900 Clay Ave SW, Wyoming, MI 49548. Warehouse staff support order processing and delivery to customers. The work is physically demanding and involves being on your feet throughout the shift and lifting up to 100 pounds. No prior experience is required; a dedicated training team provides training. Starting pay is $21.13 per hour, including a $1.00 second-shift premium. Pay scales with production and efficiency, and the position includes performance incentives, weekly pay, and two pay raises during the first year. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, with Fridays and Saturdays off. The second shift starts at 6:15 p.m. and runs until finish; shift length may vary based on work volume. Employees must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed, and work in extreme cold or hot conditions. Applicants must be at least 18, communicate in English, and pass a drug test and background check.

Requirements
