About The Position

Gordon Food Service is hiring a Warehouse Package Handler at its distribution center in Shepherdsville, Kentucky. The role supports order processing and delivery to customers. No prior experience is required; training is provided by a dedicated training team. The work is physically demanding, involves being on your feet throughout the shift, and requires lifting up to 100 pounds. The starting pay is $21.13 per hour, including a $1.00 second-shift premium, with two pay raises in the first year and the opportunity to earn more based on speed and efficiency. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, with Fridays and Saturdays off. The second shift starts at 7:30 PM and ends when work is finished; shift length may vary with work volume. Employees must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed, and to work in extreme cold or hot conditions.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
Be able to lift up to 100 pounds and remain on your feet for the duration of the shift.
Be able to work in extreme cold or hot conditions.
Be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and a background check.
