Warehouse Package Handler
About The Position
OnTrac is hiring a Package Handler to support warehouse operations at 41460 Boyce Rd., Fremont, CA 94538. Package Handlers contribute to the smooth functioning of the operations team, with an emphasis on quality and following safety protocols to maintain a productive and secure work environment. The role involves unloading trailers, sorting packages by ZIP code, and loading delivery trucks while working as part of a team. The listed shift is Sunday through Wednesday, 2:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Hours may vary based on business needs. The end of the sort is when all required sorting work and cleanup activities, as directed by site management, are complete. Pay is $20 per hour, paid weekly.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Be able to stay on your feet while working.
- Be able to work in heat and cold, as warehouse temperatures vary by season.
- Regularly lift, push, pull, and/or move items averaging 50 pounds, and occasionally items up to 75 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Follow safety practices; safety is OnTrac’s first core value.
- Unload trailers and sort packages by ZIP code.
- Load trucks for deliveries.
- Work collaboratively with the team to complete the job.
