Warehouse Package Handler
About The Position
OnTrac is hiring a Package Handler to support warehouse operations. This role contributes to smooth warehouse functioning, with an emphasis on quality and following safety protocols to maintain a productive and secure work environment. The position is based at 11440 Tanyard Creek Drive, Suite 1, Houston, TX 77040, and pays $17.50 per hour. Available schedules are Monday–Thursday, Wednesday–Sunday, or Friday–Tuesday. The shift begins at 5:00 AM and continues until 9:00 AM or until the sort is complete. Hours may vary based on business needs. “End of Sort” means completion of the required sort work for the day and directed cleanup activities.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Able to stay on your feet while working.
- Able to work in warehouse heat and cold as temperatures vary by season.
- Able to regularly lift, push, pull, and/or move items averaging 50 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Follow safety practices; safety is OnTrac’s first core value.
- Unload trailers and sort packages by ZIP code.
- Load trucks for deliveries.
- Work collaboratively with the team to complete the job.
