About The Position

Warehouse Order Selectors work in a Sysco warehouse and play a critical role in the foodservice supply chain by picking orders for delivery to foodservice venues in the local community. This is an active, physical role involving operation of an electric pallet jack and/or forklift, and organizing and palletizing products to build customer orders. Other duties may be assigned. The work environment is described as safe, with temperature and humidity varying according to local weather and the products being selected, including non-refrigerated, refrigerated, and frozen areas. The position offers on-the-job training and career growth opportunities. No college degree or previous warehouse experience is required. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
0–1 year of relevant work experience.
Frequently lift products weighing 10–75 pounds and up to 100 pounds.
Frequently reach up to 72 inches.
Constantly bend and twist while operating an electric pallet jack or forklift and retrieving products from lower shelf areas.
Work in very extreme temperatures, including cooler and/or freezer environments.
Work on feet for 10–12 hours daily.
