About The Position

Organically Grown Company (OGC), the Northwest’s largest independent distributor of fresh, organic produce, is hiring experienced warehouse order selectors. In this role, you will work with the Warehouse crew and Drivers to retrieve produce, prepare orders, and load outbound trucks during evening and overnight hours so customers receive fresh produce the next day. The position involves working in a refrigerated warehouse and using equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and Vocollect headsets.

Requirements

• Regular and consistent attendance.
• At least 1 year of experience as an order selector or warehouse picker in a produce or related environment.
• At least 1 year of experience using riding pallet jacks and the ability to demonstrate safe, proficient riding technique.
• At least 1 year of experience using Vocollect headsets or RF scan guns.
• Ability to safely lift 30–50 pounds in a refrigerated environment.
• Ability to work on a team and foster a culture of belonging.
• Ability to learn new computer software.
• Basic math skills.

Nice To Haves

• Previous work experience with perishable products and familiarity with food safety standards.
• Love or knowledge of organic produce.
• Computer savvy.

Responsibilities

• Pick warehouse orders, build pallets, prepare products for delivery, and load them onto trucks.
• Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Maintain GMP and GFSI food safety standards.
• Perform other duties as requested.
