About The Position

The Warehouse Order Picker safely and accurately selects customer orders, builds and wraps pallets, and delivers orders to the correct dock areas. The role requires safely operating warehouse equipment and order-selecting technology, checking that selected products are correct and undamaged, and helping maintain clear and orderly aisles. Work takes place in a multi-temperature environment, with night shifts typically scheduled Sunday through Thursday and hours continuing until the workload is completed.

Requirements

• Must be able to read and communicate in English to attend training, converse, receive safety and job-related coaching, read labels, and enter information on reports as needed.
• Able to work 8+ hour night shifts, typically Sunday through Thursday.
• Able to work in temperatures ranging from -5 degrees to over 100 degrees.
• Able to repetitively lift, carry, push, or pull 20 to 80+ pounds and move 1,000+ cases of product during each shift.

Nice To Haves

• Recent experience within the past six months in high-endurance or highly physical activity or work, such as patient lifting or transferring, sports or fitness, farming, or construction.
• Experience selecting large-scale orders in a warehouse or distribution center.
• Experience operating a motorized pallet jack or similar equipment.

Responsibilities

• Safely and accurately select customer orders and build and wrap pallets to meet productivity and accuracy standards.
• Perform pre-shift equipment checks and safely operate an electric pallet jack.
• Move products from racks to pallets as directed by order-selecting software and equipment.
• Verify that selected products are correct and damage-free.
• Deliver products to the correct dock area and shrink-wrap palletized orders.
• Help clear aisle debris, stack empty pallets from aisle slots, and return pallet jacks to the charging area.
