About The Position
Flex-O-Glass is seeking a Warehouse Order Picker to join its shipping team at its Chicago, Illinois facility. The role supports the team by accurately picking sales orders for shipment to customers and performing other warehouse duties. The position normally works Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with periodic overtime based on shipping needs. The position reports to the Shipping Manager. Candidates are subject to a pre-employment background check, physical and drug screen (including marijuana screening), and an interview process.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to speak and read English.
- Ability to learn and operate an RF scanner.
- Ability to lift 60 pounds individually and 120 pounds with assistance from coworkers.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures depending on the season.
Responsibilities
- Accurately and efficiently pick sales orders using RF scanners.
- Load and unload daily trucks using a forklift or hand jack as needed.
- Store finished goods and raw materials in designated areas using RF scanners.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned by the Shipping Manager.
