About The Position

Flex-O-Glass is hiring a Warehouse Order Picker to support its shipping team at the Chicago, Illinois facility. The role works as part of a team to accurately pull sales orders for shipment to customers. The position is normally performed onsite Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with periodic overtime based on shipping needs. The selected candidate reports to the Shipping Manager and is subject to a pre-employment background check, physical and drug screen (including marijuana), and the interview process.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to speak and read English.
• Ability to learn and operate an RF scanner; this is mandatory.
• Ability to lift 60 pounds individually and 120 pounds with support from coworkers.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures depending on the season.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently pick sales orders using RF scanners.
• Load and unload daily trucks using a forklift or hand jack as necessary.
• Properly store finished goods and raw materials in designated areas using RF scanners.
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned by the Shipping Manager.
