About The Position

Join Staples’ World Class Supply Chain Team to help deliver essential products to customers. This part-time role is scheduled from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday through Wednesday. Pay for performance may provide additional compensation when productivity thresholds are met.

As an SC1 warehouse associate, you may be assigned to any of four areas as needed. Order Pickers accurately and promptly pick and prepare customer orders, sometimes working above ground level while following safety procedures. Restockers scan labels, cut boxes, and replenish shelves to prepare work areas for the next shift. Bulk Selectors select products, pull and pack totes, cut merchandise cases and/or stock products, and move full totes and cases onto a conveyor belt. Custodians perform general cleaning and basic maintenance inside and outside the facility, including cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, vacuuming and spot-cleaning carpet, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning furniture and windows, and collecting and removing warehouse trash.

Safety is a priority. Associates are expected to follow safe work practices and support Staples’ safety culture. The role involves working in a warehouse with seasonal temperature variations, and requires standing and walking throughout the shift and handling products weighing up to 70 pounds by hand. Safety composite shoes are required.

Requirements

• Ability to count and use basic arithmetic skills.
• Ability to work the assigned schedule and be accountable for assigned tasks.
• Ability to understand and adhere to job requirements and safety guidelines.
• Basic English verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift, lower, push, pull, or carry products by hand weighing up to 70 pounds.
• Must wear safety composite shoes.
• Ability to walk and stand 100% of the time.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with seasonal temperature variations.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
• Prior warehouse or applicable experience, including fast-food work (headset use is a plus), stockroom work, working with racking systems, customer service, or package handling.
