About The Position

Join the Staples World Class Supply Chain Team to help deliver essential products to customers. Associates may be assigned to one of four areas—Order Picker, Restocker, Bulk Selector, or Custodian—and may move between these roles as needed. Work is scheduled 4:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m., Monday through Wednesday. The role includes pay-for-performance opportunities for associates who meet certain productivity thresholds. Safety is a priority, and associates are expected to follow safe work practices and embrace the company’s safety culture. Order Pickers accurately and promptly pick and prepare customer orders to meet daily production goals, sometimes working above ground level. Restockers scan labels, cut boxes, and replenish shelves to prepare work areas for the next shift. Bulk Selectors select products, pull and pack totes, cut merchandise cases and/or stock products, and move full totes and cases onto a conveyor belt. Custodians perform general cleaning and basic maintenance inside and outside the facility, including cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, vacuuming and spot-cleaning carpets, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning furniture and windows, and collecting and removing warehouse trash. The position requires working in a warehouse with seasonal temperature variations, walking and standing throughout the shift, and handling products weighing up to 70 pounds by hand. Associates must wear safety composite shoes. The posting lists pay as $XX per hour, including an unspecified shift differential. A pair of work shoes is provided after 60 days. Staples also describes an inclusive culture with associate-led Business Resource Groups and notes that it offers both full-time and part-time benefits.
