About The Position

Join Staples’ World Class Supply Chain Team to deliver essential products to customers. As an SC1 warehouse associate, you may be assigned to any of four areas as needed: Order Picker, Restocker, Bulk Selector, or Custodian. The role is safety-focused and involves working in a warehouse environment with seasonal temperature variations.

Order Pickers accurately and promptly pick and prepare customer orders to meet daily production goals, sometimes picking above ground level. Restockers scan labels, cut boxes, and restock shelves to prepare the work area for the next shift. Bulk Selectors select products, pull and pack totes, cut merchandise cases and/or stock product, and move full totes and cases onto a conveyor belt. Custodians perform general cleaning and basic maintenance inside and outside the facility, including cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, vacuuming and spot-cleaning carpets, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning furniture and windows, and collecting and removing warehouse trash.

The listed schedule is 2:30 p.m.–10:45 p.m., Monday through Friday. The position pays $21.55 per hour, including a $1.00-per-hour shift differential. Full-time associates must be able to work additional hours beyond their scheduled shift; overtime may be required based on business needs.

Requirements

• Ability to count and use basic arithmetic skills.
• Ability to work the assigned schedule and be accountable for assigned tasks.
• Ability to understand and follow job requirements and safety guidelines.
• Basic English verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with seasonal temperature variations.
• Ability to work additional hours beyond the scheduled shift if hired as a full-time associate; overtime may be required based on business needs.
• Ability to lift, lower, push, pull, or carry products weighing up to 70 pounds by hand.
• Must wear safety composite shoes.
• Ability to walk and stand 100% of the time.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
• Prior warehouse or applicable experience, including fast-food work (headset experience is a plus), stockroom work, working with racking systems, customer service, or package handling.

Responsibilities
