About The Position

E.A. Sween is hiring full-time Warehouse Order Pickers in Denver, Colorado. This fast-paced, physically active role primarily involves accurately and efficiently picking fresh food products. Approximately 85% or more of each shift is spent picking orders using voice-pick technology and scanners. The work takes place in refrigerated and dry warehouse areas, and involves walking throughout long shifts to ensure customer orders are accurate and ready on time.

The schedule is a four-day workweek with start times between 4:00 and 6:00 AM, and shifts typically last 10–12 hours and continue until work is complete. Overtime is common and available, and weekends and holidays are required according to the assigned schedule. No warehouse experience is required; training is provided.

Requirements

• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to stay active for 10–12 hour shifts.
• Comfort with walking and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to work accurately at a fast pace and meet productivity expectations.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to read and speak basic English.
• Comfort learning scanners, voice-pick systems, and new processes.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays based on the assigned schedule.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and push or pull up to 250 pounds.
• Ability to perform frequent walking, standing, bending, twisting, reaching, kneeling, and squatting.
• Ability to work in refrigerated and dry areas ranging from approximately 35°F to 75°F.

Responsibilities

• Pick customer orders accurately using voice-pick technology and scanners.
• Place products correctly in totes and minimize damage.
• Meet daily productivity and accuracy expectations.
• Verify products, pricing, and date codes.
• Take and record inbound product temperatures as assigned.
• Move product using carts, dollies, and other approved equipment.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
• Follow food safety and temperature-control requirements.
• Complete required safety and job training.
• Adapt to changing workflows, technology, and operational priorities.
