About The Position

West Liberty Foods is hiring a Warehouse Operator in Tremonton, Utah. The role is responsible for operating powered industrial trucks and forklifts to move products, equipment, and materials. The operator handles fresh and frozen products, loading and unloading trucks, completing related documentation, and performing warehouse housekeeping and pallet repair duties. Work includes cooler and freezer operations and requires the ability to work in varying temperatures, including cold conditions. The position is listed as first shift, with a starting base wage of $20.85 per hour and no shift premium.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available.
• Previous experience operating a powered industrial truck and/or forklift.
• Able to become certified to operate equipment, including powered industrial trucks and forklifts.
• Able to problem-solve and perform basic math.
• Able to work independently without constant supervision.
• Good attention to detail.
• Able to stand for long periods.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds, including above the head and below the waist.
• Able to work in varying temperature conditions, including cold temperatures.
• Able to work overtime and/or weekends as needed and adjust quickly to changing demands.
• Must practice good personal hygiene.
• Must successfully pass a post-offer/pre-employment drug test, background screen, physical, and E-Verify.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of related experience.
• Experience in food manufacturing or processing.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial trucks and forklifts safely.
• Perform pre-operational inspections of powered industrial trucks and forklifts.
• Operate a scanner and learn the required transaction process.
• Pick fresh and frozen products.
• Load and unload trucks and complete the necessary documentation.
• Perform maintenance and good housekeeping duties.
• Carry out cooler and freezer operations.
• Repair and sort pallets as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
