About The Position

The Warehouse Operator performs warehouse duties including pulling and checking customer orders, moving materials, loading and unloading shipments, and general material handling. The role operates equipment to store and move products throughout the warehouse and works under immediate supervision, relying on instructions and established guidelines. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Compensation is $23–$26 per hour plus a monthly incentive.

Requirements

Basic measurement competency.
Basic math competency.
Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a warehouse environment.
Strong work ethic.
Ability to meet the stated physical demands, including stooping, standing, manual dexterity, occasional lifting of 25 pounds or less, and frequent lifting of more than 25 pounds.
Wear assigned safety equipment, including a hard hat, safety shoes with metatarsal protection, safety glasses with side shields, gloves, and arm guards.
Frequent exposure to mechanical moving parts.

Nice To Haves

High school graduate or equivalent.
One year of work experience.
One year of equipment experience.
PC literacy.
Certification in assigned equipment such as a forklift, Raymond side-loader, or overhead crane.

Responsibilities

Load and unload trucks efficiently.
Perform material movement tasks for order filling, receiving, and loading.
Safely operate assigned power equipment to move materials and fulfill order requirements, including crown trucks, Raymond side-loaders, overhead cranes, and forklifts.
Select, fill, and package orders according to customer requirements.
Attach bundle tags to material being shipped and stage it for shipment.
Notice and report equipment defects or excessive wear; may set up and perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Wear assigned safety equipment at all times.
