About The Position

The Warehouse Operator Specialist-Traffic Control Coordinator coordinates inbound and outbound shipments and maintains yard flow and inventory for warehouse operations. The role directs truck drivers to the correct yard locations, supports efficient trailer placement, checks shipment paperwork and trailer markings against the computer system, and maintains accurate inventory records. It also involves coordinating daily production reports and yard checks with drivers and client representatives, inspecting cargo or equipment when required, and maintaining a clean, organized, safe, and secure office area. The position follows standard operating procedures and safety guidelines, maintains high-quality work, and performs other assigned duties. This is a full-time role based in West Branch, Michigan, with a modified first-shift schedule of 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Friday through Tuesday. The expected pay range is $18.75 to $21.50 per hour. Responsibilities

Direct truck drivers to ensure trailers are placed in the correct yard locations.
Promote operational efficiency through optimal trailer placement.
Ensure shipping paperwork matches the computer system.
Validate that paperwork and trailer markings match.
Provide appropriate paperwork to truck drivers.
Maintain accurate inventory records in the computer system.
Ensure safety requirements are maintained.
Inspect truck cargo or equipment as required.
Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and secure office area.
Manage and record daily production reports and yard checks in coordination with drivers and client representatives.
Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
Maintain a high level of quality in work performed.
Perform other projects and duties as assigned.
