Warehouse Operations Specialist
About The Position
The Warehouse Operations Specialist administers and operates the organization’s warehouses, including processing, destruction, and storage of physical assets. The role accounts for assets in storage facilities and audits goods received. It oversees the receipt, storage, movement, and shipment of assets and related reporting in accordance with established procedures. The specialist prepares and coordinates shipping and receiving schedules to control the flow of goods and regulate warehouse space, and ensures effective operating procedures, space utilization, and maintenance and protection of facilities and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Administer and operate warehouses, including processing, destruction, and storage of physical assets.
- Account for assets in storage facilities and audit goods received into the warehouse.
- Oversee the receipt, storage, movement, and shipment of assets and related reporting in accordance with established procedures.
