About The Position

The Navy Exchange Service Command is hiring a Warehouse Operations Clerk at Naval Base Kitsap in Silverdale. The role supports warehouse and retail operations serving military patrons and their families. No military affiliation is necessary, but applicants must have military base access or be U.S. citizens.

The clerk receives, prepares, processes, and verifies documents—including accounting, shipping and receiving, transfer COES, Retail Price Changes (RPCs), and Bills of Lading (BOLs) and chargebacks—manually or through applicable automated systems. The role requires accuracy and timely document submission, use of multiple computer programs as needed, and coordination with vendors, shippers, accounting, procurement, and other personnel.

Requirements

• One year of progressively responsible clerical or office work demonstrating the ability to perform satisfactorily at the position's grade level.
• One year of progressively responsible clerical or administrative support experience, or related experience demonstrating the ability to perform the work.
• Pass a pre-employment criminal background check.
• Have military base access or be a U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Receive, prepare, process, and verify accounting, shipping, receiving, transfer COES, Retail Price Change, Bill of Lading, and chargeback documents.
• Process documents manually or through applicable automated systems.
• Ensure documents are accurate and submitted on time.
• Access multiple computer systems and programs to process necessary data.
• Coordinate with vendors, shippers, accounting, procurement, and other personnel.
