About The Position

The Warehouse Delivery Material Handler manually loads trucks with products for delivery to customers. The role involves lifting, lowering, and carrying products in a fast-paced warehouse environment, stacking empty pallets, and maintaining a safe and clean workspace. The employee is expected to follow safe work practices and contribute to Staples Supply Chain’s delivery operations. The warehouse environment may have seasonal temperature variations. The scheduled shift is 1:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., Thursday through Monday.

Requirements

• At least 3 months of related warehouse experience, or an equivalent combination of acceptable training, education, and experience.
• Ability to pass a drug screen to the extent legally permissible.
• Ability to work additional hours beyond the scheduled shift; overtime is required based on business need for full-time associates.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull equipment or merchandise weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to walk and stand for 100% of the time.
• Must wear safety composite shoes.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to become MHEO certified and safely operate necessary material handling equipment as required.
• Ability and willingness to keep the work area clean.
• Ability to adopt safety procedures and follow safe work practices.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with seasonal temperature variations.
• Basic English verbal and written communication skills.
• Inclusive approach to working with colleagues and customers, building relationships, and collaborating to resolve issues.
