Warehouse Material Handler Full Time 3rd Shift
About The Position
The Warehouse Material Handler manually loads trucks with products for delivery to customers. The role involves lifting, lowering, and carrying products in a fast-paced warehouse, stacking empty pallets, and maintaining a safe and clean workspace. The employee is expected to follow safe work practices and support the company’s safety culture while contributing to Staples Supply Chain’s customer deliveries. The position is scheduled for 9:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. The warehouse may have seasonal temperature variations. Full-time associates must be able to work additional hours beyond their scheduled shift, with overtime required based on business needs.
Requirements
- At least 3 months of related warehouse experience, or an equivalent combination of acceptable training, education, and experience.
- Ability to become MHEO certified and safely operate necessary material handling equipment as required.
- Ability and willingness to keep the work area clean.
- Ability to adopt safety procedures quickly and follow safe work practices.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment with seasonal temperature variations.
- Basic English verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to pass a drug screen to the extent legally permissible.
- For full-time associates, ability to work additional hours beyond the scheduled shift; overtime is required based on business need.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull equipment or merchandise weighing up to 100 pounds.
- Must wear safety composite shoes.
- Ability to walk and stand 100% of the time.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
