About The Position

Viking Electric is hiring a full-time Warehouse Material Handler in Rochester, Minnesota. The role supports customer service by accurately selecting products, preparing orders, and moving them from the warehouse to delivery trucks or storage. The associate works in a positive, fast-paced environment with a supportive team. The schedule is noon to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday, with no weekends. Hourly pay is $21.00–$26.00, with pay within that range based on comparable warehouse experience. Compensation also includes a short-term incentive bonus and benefits.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old.
Regularly lift, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds, or up to 75 pounds with assistance from supportive equipment or team members.
Be able to stand and walk for much of the shift.
Have basic math skills, including adding and subtracting numbers.
Be willing to learn to operate equipment such as a forklift and handheld scanning device; training is provided.
Be able to work in various temperatures within the warehouse.
Be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

Load and unload trucks and safely move boxes and materials using warehouse equipment.
Count, check, and record items received into or shipped out of the warehouse.
Scan barcodes and labels using a handheld device to track inventory levels.
Assemble, package, label, stack, palletize, and route materials for delivery or storage.
Keep products organized and free from damage.
Follow and promote warehouse safety and security procedures.
