About The Position

The Material Handler performs warehouse and yard operations, including pulling and preparing customer orders, loading and unloading trucks, and keeping products clean and organized. The role works inside the warehouse and outside in the yard as needed, and uses a forklift to move products when needed. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with overtime as needed. Pay is $18–$21.

Requirements

• High school graduate or General Education Degree (GED).
• At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse or yard position.
• Must be able to work outdoors in all conditions.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to read and write and perform essential math functions.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift experience.
• Experience with building materials.

Responsibilities

• Load trucks for outgoing shipments.
• Unload inbound products.
• Pull and prepare customer orders and package them for shipment.
• Complete work orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Rotate products and safely move them using a forklift when needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Work with the team to support branch success and provide excellent customer service.
• Perform other duties as required by business needs or as assigned.
