About The Position

The Warehouse Material Handler helps provide a positive customer experience by accurately fulfilling orders and moving products from the warehouse to customers. The role works in a fast-paced, supportive team environment and includes loading and unloading trucks, receiving and shipping inventory, preparing materials for delivery or storage, and maintaining an organized and safe warehouse. Training is provided for warehouse equipment and handheld scanning devices.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds regularly, or up to 75 pounds with assistance from supportive equipment or team members.
• Ability to stand and walk for much of the shift.
• Basic math skills, including addition and subtraction.
• Willingness to learn to operate equipment such as a forklift and handheld scanning device; training is provided.
• Ability to work in various temperatures within the warehouse.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and safely move boxes and materials using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, handcarts, and reach trucks.
• Count, check, and record items received into or shipped out of the warehouse.
• Scan barcodes and labels with a handheld device to help track inventory levels.
• Assemble, package, label, stack, palletize, and route materials for delivery or storage.
• Keep products free from damage and organized.
• Follow and promote procedures that keep the warehouse safe and secure.
