Warehouse Associate-Steady Day Shift, No Weekends
About The Position
Garden State Tile is hiring a Warehouse Associate at its Dayton, New Jersey location. This role supports the company’s warehouse operations and customer experience by handling premium ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone products for contractors, builders, dealers, architects, and retail customers. The position is based in a clean, fully wireless, 45,000-square-foot facility featuring Epicor Prophet 21 technology and a luxury design center. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weekend or evening shifts. Compensation is $19.00 to $21.00 per hour. The hourly, non-exempt role may offer overtime when operational needs arise, paid at 1.5 times the base rate. Reliable transportation is required for daily attendance. Responsibilities
- Receive and process incoming stock and materials.
- Pick and fill orders from stock and organize warehouse inventory using Epicor Prophet 21 technology.
- Pack and ship orders and accurately prepare orders for shipping and customer pickups.
- Provide high-quality customer service to clients and team members.
- Load and unload trucks and safely process transfers and orders in and out of the warehouse.
- Perform scheduled cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy and improve warehouse productivity.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace.
