About The Position

OmniMax International is seeking a Warehouse Lead to join its Sacramento, California team. The position supports warehouse operations, inventory control, product quality, safety, shipment preparation, and general shop cleanliness. The Warehouse Lead also serves as a backup for forklift and order-filling duties and may assist other locations and departments as needed.

The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, four 10-hour workdays, with a 35-minute lunch. The shift runs from 5:00 PM to 3:35 AM.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to operate an order picker and all forklift equipment, demonstrated by passing the required OSHA written test and practical demonstration.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds two-thirds or more of the time and up to 50 pounds one-third of the time.
• Ability to stand for 8 hours a day.
• Ability to count and write.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with warehouse software, Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP), SAP, or Oracle.

Responsibilities

• Maintain awareness of safety principles and follow company safety standards.
• Control inventory by counting, recording, and reporting goods.
• Oversee lean projects and champion safety in the plant.
• Maintain order and place stock in designated areas.
• Organize goods and assist with designating stocking locations as needed.
• Conduct product quality control by identifying and reporting defective, damaged, or otherwise unacceptable products, and reworking or scrapping products as required.
• Serve as a backup to forklift operators and order fillers.
• Wrap product skids for shipment; stage, record, and load internal transfers.
• Assist other locations and departments as necessary.
• Maintain general shop cleanliness.
• Perform other responsibilities deemed necessary by leadership.
