Warehouse Lead - 2nd Shift

About The Position

The Warehouse Lead oversees warehouse staff and ensures daily tasks are completed safely and on time. The role verifies and maintains records for incoming and outgoing shipments, follows policy and procedures to maintain accurate inventory, and organizes and prioritizes work to meet deadlines. The lead also supports warehouse operations, including assembling hoses to meet customer or stocking needs, and maintains related office functions.

Requirements

Between 1 and 3 years of experience in shipping and receiving.
Between 1 and 3 years of experience in general warehouse operations.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Business, General Management, or a related field of study.

Responsibilities

Inspect incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with shippers to resolve damages and shortages.
Examine outgoing shipments to ensure they are correct and meet specifications.
Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
Assign and perform daily cycle counts to ensure accurate and consistent inventory.
Assemble hoses as needed to meet customer or stocking needs.
Interact with employees, customers, and management in a cooperative, supportive, and courteous manner.
Comply with company policies and procedures while maintaining a professional attitude.
Supervise warehouse staff and monitor performance on assigned daily tasks.
Maintain office functions, including filing, billing, and matching receiving paperwork.
Verify and maintain records for incoming and outgoing shipments.
Organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines and ensure daily tasks are completed safely and on time.
