About The Position

This position is responsible for the administration, maintenance, reporting, and data integrity of manufacturing and warehouse systems that support laboratory and distribution center operations. The role ensures system accuracy, security, and operational efficiency by maintaining databases, supporting system access and reporting, and partnering with cross-functional teams to resolve system and data-related issues. This position is based at the Versant Health Distribution Center in Westampton, NJ, and requires frequent travel to the Optical Lab in Newtown Square, PA. An active, valid driver’s license and the ability to travel locally on a frequent basis are required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or similar required.
  • 3-5 years experience required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Windows-based systems is required.
  • Ability to communicate with and accommodate a broad range of constituency, including internal/external customers.
  • All Associates must comply with the Health Insurance Portability Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) as it pertains to disclosures of protected health information (PHI) as described in the Notice of Privacy Practices and HIPAA Privacy Policies and Procedures.
  • As a component of job roles and responsibilities, Associates may have access to covered information, cardholder data or other confidential customer information which must be protected at all times.
  • As a result, Associates must explicitly adhere to all data security guidelines established within the Company’s Privacy & Security Training Program.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical computer certification is preferred.
  • Experience with ERP, warehouse management, or manufacturing systems is preferred.
  • Experience with inventory management, reporting tools, and database maintenance is preferred.
  • Knowledge of laboratory operations, equipment, workflow and procedures, as well as ISO 9001 Standards is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Update the various DVI manufacturing systems databases with new provider, lens and frame information, as necessary. Includes technical data, costs, availability, inventory requirements (barcodes), etc.
  • Administer DVI and warehouse system security access and permissions in accordance with established security policies and procedures.
  • Generate, review, and distribute scheduled system reports in accordance with established reporting timelines.
  • Create, generate and distribute custom systems reports on an as needed basis.
  • Coordinate the quarterly submission of DVI and warehouse systems backups from labs to DVI.
  • Maintain the Joget system by updating back-ordered frame and lens information, including impacted products, expected duration, and available alternatives.
  • Support WorldShip and Duplex Printing applications as needed.
  • Address “cost required” jobs in DVI as required, repairing root cause of the opportunity.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between DVI and Integrated Logistics for transit claim management and resolution activities.
  • Ensure all the above are completed in accordance with our QMS requirements. Serve as an internal auditor as necessary.
  • Practice and comply with all requirements of our Quality Management System (QMS), as well as regulations promoting a safe and healthy workplace.
  • Promote and practice safety behaviors that are aligned with company policies and OSHA regulations.
  • Conform with and abide by all federal, state, and local regulations, company policies and procedures, and instructions.
  • Adhere to privacy and confidential and proprietary company policies and procedures (i.e. HIPAA).
  • Participate in any/all training and educational activities necessary to fulfill at least the minimum requirements as specified within your departmental goals. This is in addition to the completion of any activities necessary for the maintenance of professional affiliations or organizational requirements.
  • Monitor data accuracy and integrity across laboratory and warehouse systems.
  • Investigate and resolve system, reporting, and data discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with IT department on any required technology development
  • Support testing and implementation of system enhancements and upgrades.
  • Document standard operating procedures and provide training to end users.
  • Support inventory audits and reconciliation activities as needed.
  • As required by changing business needs, complete additional responsibilities as assigned.
