About The Position

The Warehouse/Internal Logistics Supervisor oversees warehouse operations and manages a team responsible for receiving, handling, storing, and dispatching products, systems, and services. The role leads and supports the team to ensure efficient operations, inventory accuracy, safety compliance, and timely receipt and dispatch of goods. It also identifies process improvements, trains team members, and supports compliance with safety and quality standards. This on-site position is based in Senatobia, Mississippi, in ABB’s Electrification Smart Power division. The schedule is Shift B, Monday through Thursday, from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. The position reports to the Inventory Manager.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 4 years of manufacturing production supervisory experience.
Attention to detail, time efficiency, and effective manpower utilization.
Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Existing work authorization permitting employment with ABB in the United States.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge and understanding of an ERP system; SAP is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Optimize warehouse capacity, inventory, and floor utilization.
Supervise and assist with daily warehouse and shipping operations.
Code and prepare proper receipt and dispatch paperwork.
Ensure the maintenance of equipment and facilities, and identify and recommend technical equipment and facility improvements as needed.
Recommend measures to improve service quality, departmental efficiency, and the performance of work crews and equipment.
Ensure stock accuracy through periodic stock takes and/or cycle counting.
Lead and support team members, including training them.
