Warehouse/Internal Logistics Operator
About The Position
The Warehouse/Internal Logistics Operator conducts activities involving the handling of parts and semi-finished or final products in the warehouse and to or from the production line. The role sorts and arranges materials for storage according to guidelines, performs routine activities under established procedures, picks components from stock for dispatch, and completes final packing on pallets. It also involves transporting boxes and carrying out other collection, storage, and warehouse activities. This is an onsite position in ABB’s Smart Power Business Unit in Senatobia, Mississippi, and reports to the Inventory Manager.
Requirements
- High school diploma or certificate required.
- 0–6 months of experience in a manufacturing warehouse environment.
- Ability to communicate in English and Spanish.
Responsibilities
- Sort and arrange materials for storage according to guidelines.
- Execute routine activities according to established procedures.
- Pick components from stock for dispatch and complete final packing on pallets.
- Transport boxes and perform other collection, storage, and warehouse activities.
