About The Position

Gulfeagle Supply is seeking a hardworking Warehouse Helper interested in a career in the distribution industry and opportunities for advancement. Under the direction of the Branch Manager, the Warehouse Helper operates a warehouse forklift and performs material-handling duties safely and with a customer-oriented approach. The role includes receiving and organizing materials, preparing orders for vehicles, maintaining warehouse, yard, and truck areas, assisting customers, and supporting inventory and minor repairs. New hires must complete a pre-employment background check and drug test.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift license or certification.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors under adverse weather conditions.
• Ability to bend, reach, lift, and climb.
• Ability to continually lift up to 100 pounds of material.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must complete a pre-employment background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift to store warehouse materials in an organized manner and pull materials for loading into customer and branch vehicles.
• Receive vendor materials, verify quantities for accuracy, and complete relevant paperwork.
• Assist with quarterly inventory or inventory as needed.
• Maintain the warehouse, yard, and trucks in a proper, presentable manner.
• Perform minor repairs as needed.
• Handle materials safely and follow company safety regulations, including wearing appropriate safety devices such as a back brace, gloves, and shoes.
• Assist customers with materials and report delivery or service problems.
• Perform other tasks as necessary.
