About The Position

Wieland is hiring a Warehouse Helper to assist the Slitter Operator with supplying material to the machine and safely operating and packaging products. The position is fully on-site in Warwick, Rhode Island. Starting pay is $22.05 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with weekly pay.

Requirements

• Ability to read and understand English.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Some knowledge of metals would be helpful but is not required.

Responsibilities

• Supply material to the machine.
• Assist with setup.
• Assist with changing equipment on the machine.
• Collect the proper packing supplies.
• Assist the Slitter Operator as needed.
• Prepare the skid and packaging supplies for the respective order.
• Help the Slitter Operator remove coils from the machine.
• Band the coils.
• Place the coils on skids and pack them for shipment.
• Assist in operating and packaging the product safely.
