About The Position

Wieland is hiring a Warehouse Helper to assist the Slitter Operator by supplying material to the machine and supporting the safe operation and packaging of products. The position is located in Warwick, Rhode Island, and is fully on-site. Starting pay is $22.05 per hour, with weekly pay. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on first shift.

Requirements

• Be able to read and understand English.
• Be able to lift 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Some knowledge of metals is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Supply material to the machine.
• Assist with machine setup.
• Assist with changing equipment on the machine.
• Collect the proper packing supplies.
• Assist the Slitter Operator when necessary.
• Prepare the skid and packaging supplies for each order.
• Help the Slitter Operator remove coils from the machine.
• Band the coils.
• Place coils on skids and pack them for shipment.
