Warehouse Forklift Operator – 1st & 2nd Shifts
About The Position
Big Bolt LLC is hiring an experienced Warehouse Forklift Operator to move materials, support shipping and receiving, and help maintain accurate inventory at its manufacturing facility. The role involves operating a forklift safely, checking shipment details carefully, and working with warehouse and production teams. Full-time opportunities are available on first and second shifts. The listed pay is $16.00–$18.00 per hour, although the posting also gives a pay range of USD $18.00–$18.00 per hour. The position is based in a warehouse and manufacturing environment with varying temperatures. It requires regularly lifting and moving up to 50 pounds; standing, walking, bending, reaching, and twisting during the workday; and sitting while operating a forklift for extended periods.
Requirements
- Previous experience operating a forklift.
- Current forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification upon hire.
- Basic computer and math skills.
- Ability to read shipping paperwork, product labels, and work orders.
- Careful attention to accuracy and workplace safety.
- Ability to complete assignments independently and collaborate with teammates.

- Familiarity with shipping, receiving, or inventory control.

Responsibilities
- Operate a forklift to unload deliveries, transport materials, and stage outgoing orders.
- Check incoming shipments against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Supply production and shipping departments with needed materials.
- Load outbound shipments accurately and securely.
- Inspect the forklift daily and report equipment problems or safety concerns.
- Record material movements to keep inventory information current.
- Participate in cycle counts and physical inventory checks.
- Maintain clear aisles and orderly storage areas.
- Follow company procedures, safety policies, and applicable OSHA requirements.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed.
