About The Position

Ryder is hiring temporary full-time Warehouse Case Pickers in Newnan, Georgia. The role supports warehouse fulfillment and distribution of food products in clean, organized facilities, with a focus on maintaining a safe supply chain environment. The position pays $18.50 per hour, with weekly pay, and is scheduled for the first shift, Sunday through Thursday, from 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Paid on-the-job training and safety gear are provided. Equipment used includes reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, clamps, slip sheets, and electric pallet jacks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One or more years of related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid certified forklift operator's license.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, including in a diverse work environment.
• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with peers, work groups, customers, and supervisors.
• Thoroughness and dependability.
• Punctuality and a good attendance record.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Perform duties within the contract's performance measurement guidelines.
• Accurately pick and pack, audit, induct totes, stage products, and load and unload trucks.
• Handle day-to-day warehouse paperwork, such as picking sheets, returns, and bills of lading.
• Provide technical and maintenance support for aspects of the automated packing system during the core production shift.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
