About The Position

Ryder is hiring a temp-to-hire Warehouse Forklift Operator / Material Handler in Naperville, Illinois. The role supports warehouse fulfillment and distribution of consumer packaged goods in a clean, organized facility. Duties may include operating powered industrial equipment such as reach trucks and sit-down forklifts. The position is paid hourly at $19.00, with weekly pay, and includes paid training and provided safety gear. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Ryder describes its workplace as a team-first culture that prioritizes safety and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent.
One or more years of related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience.

Responsibilities

Perform warehouse functions such as loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
Perform duties within the contract’s performance measurement guidelines.
Accurately pick and pack, audit, induct totes, stage products, and load and unload trucks.
Handle day-to-day warehouse paperwork, including picking sheets, returns, and bills of lading.
Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects of the automated packing system during the core production shift.
Perform other duties as assigned.
