About The Position

Ryder is hiring temporary full-time warehouse associates in Newnan, Georgia. The role supports warehouse fulfillment and distribution, handling food products in a clean, organized facility. Work includes forklift and other powered equipment operation, accurate picking and packing, and support for warehouse shipping, receiving, and production activities. The position pays $18.50 per hour, with weekly pay, and is scheduled for the first shift, Sunday through Thursday, 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Ryder provides on-the-job paid training and safety gear. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One or more years of related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid, certified Forklift Operator's License.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, including in a diverse work environment.
• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships across organizational levels, including peers, work groups, customers, and supervisors.
• Thoroughness and dependability.
• Punctuality and a good attendance record.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate initiative.
• Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy under pressure.
• Ability to lift and/or push or pull up to 35 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Ability to work using health and safety methods.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule on various work shifts.
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions that may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Perform duties within the performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Accurately pick and pack, audit, induct totes, stage products, and load and unload trucks.
• Handle day-to-day warehouse paperwork, such as picking sheets, returns, and bills of lading.
• Provide technical and maintenance support for aspects of the automated packing system during the core production shift.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
