About The Position

NAPA Auto Parts is seeking a skilled and energetic Warehouse Associate to join its team. Warehouse associates perform receiving, replenishing, picking, and loading tasks and troubleshoot and solve problems throughout these activities. The position operates in a warehouse setting with industrial noise, bright overhead lighting, and temperatures that vary due to limited climate control. Employees work around moving equipment and mechanical operations and must remain alert to audible and visual safety signals.

Requirements

Stamina to stand and walk for the entire shift.
Ability to lift and move parts weighing up to 50 pounds and push and pull 300 pounds using mechanical aids.
Ability to repeatedly bend, twist, squat, climb, and reach, including using a ladder when necessary.
Basic math skills to identify product quantities.
Ability to read and recognize alphanumeric sequences.
Basic understanding of and ability to operate a computer and RF scanning equipment.
Availability to work Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend work as needed.

Prior work experience.
Experience using RF scanning equipment.

Responsibilities

Unload inbound shipments safely and move products to storage locations.
Count products, compare them with manifests, check shipments for damage, stack and store products in the appropriate areas, and sign for inbound shipments when necessary.
Pick the correct number and type of products and transport orders to shipping locations.
Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and undamaged, and report quality variances as needed.
Maintain accurate inventory records and reports and ensure proper stock rotation.
Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
Support and follow the company safety program, initiatives, policies, and procedures.
Meet productivity standards while tracking key performance indicators.
Identify and solve problems that arise during daily warehouse operations.
Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
