Warehouse/Delivery Worker (Effective 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR)
About The Position
The Warehouse/Delivery Worker supports the K–8 science instructional program by preparing, maintaining, inventorying, distributing, and retrieving science curriculum kits, instructional materials, equipment, and live materials for participating district schools. The position is based at the Science Resource Center in the S. Campbell Ave and S. Norris Ave area and is effective for the 2026–2027 school year. This is a 1.0 FTE position scheduled for 8 hours per day on a 12-month work calendar. The posted rates include community-approved override increases guaranteed through June 2031. Positions under 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits. Internal candidates transfer at a rate commensurate with their bargaining unit language.
Requirements
- One year of warehouse and/or delivery experience.
- Six months of clerical and/or mailroom experience.
- Basic math skills.
- Basic computer and word processing skills.
- Verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to read and comprehend written, graphic, and oral instructions.
- Must hold a current Arizona Driver’s license and have no more than the allowable points against the license under Governing Board Policy EEB-R-1.
- Before starting, pass an FBI fingerprint background check.
- Before starting, provide proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.
- Before starting, pass a post-offer/pre-employment physical examination and a 75 lb. lift test.
