About The Position

Perform various cleaning duties in assigned areas of district buildings or schools in accordance with county health department standards and standards established by the Custodial Services Department. This position is located at Magee Middle School in the Speedway and Pantano area and is effective for the 2026–2027 school year. The position is 1.0 FTE, eight hours per day, on a 12-month work calendar, with an AM/PM shift. Posted rates include community-approved override increases guaranteed through June 2031.

Requirements

• One year or more of custodial experience.
• Speak, read, and write in English.
• Comprehend graphic and oral instructions in English.
• Before starting, pass an FBI fingerprint background check.
• Before starting, provide proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.
• Before starting, pass a post-offer/pre-employment physical examination and 50-pound lift test.
• Complete mandatory TUSD New-Hire Custodial Training.
