About The Position
Perform various cleaning duties in assigned areas of district buildings or schools in accordance with county health department standards and standards established by the Custodial Services Department. This position is located at Borton Magnet Elementary School and is effective for the 2026–2027 school year. The position is 1.0 FTE, eight hours per day, on a 12-month work calendar, with a PM shift. Posted rates include increases funded through a community-approved override guaranteed through June 2031.
Requirements
- At least one year of custodial experience.
- Speak, read, and write in English.
- Comprehend graphic and oral instructions in English.
- Before starting, complete an FBI fingerprint background check.
- Before starting, provide proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.
- Before starting, pass a post-offer/pre-employment physical examination and 50-pound lift test.
- Before starting, complete mandatory TUSD New-Hire Custodial Training.
