About The Position

Under the supervision of the Operations Supervisor - Nutrition Services or Supervisor Custodial/Warehouse, the Warehouse Delivery Driver performs duties related to shipping, receiving, storing, and issuing goods, including food, supplies, equipment, textbooks, and other materials. The role drives a vehicle along assigned routes to pick up and deliver food, goods, equipment, and mail, and prepares and maintains related records and reports. The employee may also participate in food service distribution functions as directed.

Requirements

• High school graduation or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One year of warehouse, delivery, or related experience in a warehouse environment.
• Valid California Class C driver’s license.
• Valid forklift certification.
• Some positions may require a valid ServSafe Certificate or equivalent issued by an authorized agency under the California Retail Food Code.

Responsibilities

• Ship, receive, store, and issue food, supplies, equipment, textbooks, and other materials.
• Drive a vehicle along assigned routes to pick up and deliver food, goods, equipment, and mail.
• Prepare and maintain related records and reports.
• Participate in food service distribution functions as directed.
