About The Position

The Warehouse Custodian maintains cleanliness and basic upkeep of warehouse hallways, stairs, and office spaces. The role includes cleaning floors and surfaces, emptying trash, identifying maintenance needs, replacing air conditioner filters, notifying management about major repair or equipment needs, and maintaining pest-control devices and applying pesticides, rodenticides, and herbicides. The position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and overtime as needed, and to lift or move up to 50 pounds. Essential functions may be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalency.

Responsibilities

Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum hallways, stairs, and office space.
Empty trash and garbage containers.
Identify needed repairs, such as roof leaks and damaged dock shelters.
Replace air conditioner filters.
Notify management about the need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment.
Maintain pest-control devices and spray pesticides, rodenticides, and herbicides.
