Warehouse Custodian
About The Position
The Warehouse Custodian supports warehouse operations by maintaining clean, organized buildings at Gordon Food Service’s distribution center in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Duties include sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, emptying trash, clearing snow, and maintaining landscaping. The role requires working in extreme temperatures ranging from -25°F to 100°F. No prior experience is required; training is provided. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with Fridays and Saturdays off. The position pays $19.52 per hour starting, with monthly performance incentives. Candidates must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be able to work in extreme cold or hot conditions ranging from -25°F to 100°F.
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English to read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, company website information related to benefits and updates, complete paperwork, and follow verbal instructions.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
- Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
