About The Position

Responsible for keeping assigned areas, such as office, commercial, industrial, or institutional buildings, clean and orderly. The employee maintains a clean work area, follows company safety rules and procedures, uses appropriate personal protective equipment, and understands customer service and satisfaction. The role involves preparing finished products for shipping, handling and tracking warehouse inventory, moving waste, maintaining equipment, completing daily logs, and carrying out supervisor instructions while working with other team members. No previous experience is required.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
No previous experience is required.
Complete all safety and task training certifications.
A valid driver's license may be required based on business needs; employees who drive must maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record and meet company driving eligibility requirements.
Forklift certification may be required.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

Maintain a clean work area and comply with company safety rules, policies, and procedures; stop at-risk behavior by oneself and others.
Prepare finished products for shipping by shrink wrapping, boxing, and labeling.
Load and unload goods and supplies and ensure proper handling.
Pack, label, and tag warehouse inventory.
Maintain warehouse quality and track damaged inventory.
Perform preventive maintenance on forklifts, trucks, and/or railcars.
Move waste from the assembly line to dumpsters.
Complete daily logs.
Carry out supervisor orders and work with fellow workers and other team members.
Use proper personal protective equipment.
Understand customer service and satisfaction.
